BAcC members are required to meet the Council’s standards for training, professional conduct and safe practice.
The BAcC register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA), an independent body accountable to Parliament. The PSA’s Accredited Registers Quality Mark provides assurance about the standards of the register and the practitioners on it.

Giving blood
Because we are members of the British Acupuncture Council, you do not have to wait the four-month exclusion period after acupuncture with us before giving blood.
Private health insurance
BAcC members are recognised by a wide range of private health insurers and health cash plans. Depending on your policy, you may be able to reclaim some or all of the cost of treatment. Please check with your insurer before booking if you intend to make a claim. Private healthcare information from the BAcC.
